Canary is a safety application that allows users to designate a trusted contact and initiate a safety session before substance use. By using Canary, you agree to the following terms.
Program Description
Canary enables users to send safety alert messages to a designated trusted contact. When a user starts a safety session and inactivity is detected, an SMS message may be sent to the selected contact indicating that the user may be unresponsive.
Messages may include a secure link to the user’s last known location if the user has opted to share that information.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are only sent when a user manually starts a safety session and the inactivity condition is met.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier plan.
Opt-Out Instructions
Recipients may opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Canary may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updates.
